3D printing is a game changer for orthotics! It is allowing us to design shapes and functional designs that were not previously possible. As we are able to change the material orientation, thickness and shape of the devices, we can now create areas of flexibility or stiffness as required. This will allow us to reduce the bulk and trimlines of your device, making it lightweight, yet strong where you need it.
